![]() ![]() Secondly, me being "higher than D5" wouldn't change anything in the guide. First of all, I basically stopped climbing for a while after achieving D4 (yes, I got to D4 and eventually demoted to D5 again), didn't see much point to it back then, and I didn't really dedicate to actually climbing higher. I shouldn't dwell too much in this, I don't think either of us would gain anything from it, since you don't seem to like actual discussion.Īh, first one of these comments, I see. Your mindset also stifles innovation completely, since by the way you've acted so far, it really looks like you only want people to play what's viable and meta, and since Zed isn't "meta" and "lowers your winrate by 50%" (which, to be quite honest, doesn't really make sense), he isn't pickable.Īlso, this isn't really relevant, but I do love the fact that you explicitely joined this thread, only to post something that literally adds nothing to the discussion, what so ever. Let's just say this mindset of yours really doesn't agree with both the game's own design (meaning, how the game is supposed to be played, in which Soraka AS crit top isn't a relevant factor, mind you) and the mindset of any self-and-other-respecting League player. I enjoy when people twist an argument I make into their own perversion of it. Mages, are generally less counterable (this statement is very, very broad, of course), since most of them are ranged, but they don't counter their easy matchups as much. So, wrapping that up, assassins counter easier, but are also countered harder. So basically, if you're already a reliable mage player, picking up assassins is very beneficial for some specific matchups, perhaps one that counters the mages you play, but doesn't do the same to our assassins. Mages are generally more reliable, they don't get countered as hard by their counters as assassins do, but they often also don't counter their easy lanes as hard. ![]() Therefore, if you can play assassins reliably, whenever you find a matchup that's very easy to snowball off, you can essentially just steamroll the entire match, making it very difficult to. Yeah, there's a few benefits, most of them lying in the fact that assassins snowball really hard if you get going. Zed could have a higher skill ceiling, though, so there's that. I might be bias because I play both these champions (although, Zed a LOT more than Azir), but from a base level, Azir is arguably more difficult to pull off. Zed focuses on the assassin parts of mechanics, the fast and loose ones, and usually the ones that pop up in highlight plays. ADC mechanics and knowing your ranges and potentially being adept at things like the Shurima Shuffle. Basically, it comes down to, Azir is more about like. Zed does the latter the most, but also shadow placement mechanics, timing your ultimate to dodge stuff "mechanics" and such things. Azir excels with kiting, orb-walking and general game sense (and obviously some classic old twitchy mechanics). They're also not that comparable in what kind of mechanics you require. Azir has a pretty high skillfloor and a high skill ceiling, and Zed has an average skillfloor and a very high skill ceiling. Honestly, I don't see much point in comparing difficulty, since they're two different kinds of difficulty.
